Two American Women Rescued After Five Months at Sea

Two American women lost at sea for five long months have been rescued after a broken mast and a disabled engine took them thousands of miles off course.The women were rescued along with their two dogs, Zeus and Valentine, who had been aboard with them. While the dogs provided an immense source of comfort during the ordeal.On the 99th day of distress calls, a Taiwanese fishing vessel found them, they said. It began towing the sailboat, but by that time Appel said the ship was in such poor condition she estimates it wouldn’t have lasted another a day.

I used my time effectively this week by filming and editing my feature story alongside Addison. 

Essay

To be completely honest my life is harder than most others. And because of that I try to help everyone as best I can. I know what its like. A friend approached me the past week about ending her life. I drove around with her for many hours telling her my experiences and convinced her to stay on this earth. This is the good thing I have done this week. Today I got out of bed and came to school which for me is a big accomplishment. It does hurt my feelings when I walk in and people in this class say " oh look Sarah finally decided to show up ". It makes me feel like running back into my car and going home. No one knows why I come late to school so often and quite frankly its none of there business. I wish people in this class and in ONW and even in this world could be nicer to each other. You don't know what is going on in other peoples lives and you should treat everyone as if there having the worst day ever. 

In e-Comm I have not truly done anything amazing to help others out. When Addison was struggling I tried my best to help her out. But I could be doing so much more in this classroom to make this a better place to be in. My choices in this class need to be centered around others and not myself.
